I don't wanna be anything other than what I've been trying to be lately.

Hey there scout hows it going?

So, people of the blog world, I have decided that the title of my blog posts from now on will be song or band names. I don't know why, but tough.

So, I've been thinking about next year alot recently, the school year i mean. And i realised it's my last one, scary huh? Yeah... But i was thinking about it and I've been kinda lazy in school so far, like the only sports i do are Climbing and Basketball. And i did a few things this past year, like school concerts and shizz, but nothing amazing or spectacular ( I'm putting the spellchecker to the test now haha).

So I've decided that next year I'm gonna do more. I'm gonna start doing athletics, i suck but who cares. I'm gonna do the school production (it's Grease this year) i mean i took Drama GCSE so it's kinda lame not performing at all. I'm gonna do Silver DofE, should be fun. And just generally take more opportunities and risks, sound like a plan? Good!

I'm going to the beach tomorrow, peeps. It's gonna be fun. I'm gonna meet a load of new peoples which is cool, including the already legendary Kathy ( see now you're in mine as well). if shannie Akk-beard( Real name: Shannen Akers) takes pictures I'll be sure to post em on here for ya!

Jeez I'm good to you lazy peoples, right?

Hahaa.

My friend Imogen decided to scare the frick out of me by telling me that we still have about 5 weeks of holidays left, which is just too much if you ask me. Well, it wouldn't be if i had stuff planned but I've always been a kinda Make-It-Up-As-You-Go Guy, i dunno i just like improvising, is all...

Ermm so, i don't really have a poem to put here yet, but I'm gonna put in one of my favorites instead okay? I'll be sure to write more i just can't be asked at the moment. This poem kinda ties in with the whole change ting i was talking about up there.

It's called Invictus.

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever God may be,
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance,
i have not cried nor winced aloud,
under the bludgeoning of chance,
My head is bloody but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears,
Looms but horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.
William Earnest Henley, 1875.
Kinda puts this whole blog in perspective doesn't it? My crappy amatueristic poems agains that, i think i know what wins.
But you wait, that'll be me one day. PAHAHAHA
I do love that last stanza though, don't you? It has the most wisdom of all of them i think, as well as the most optimism. It's so defiant! that's the word, and EMPOWERING ahh my minds working now, haha. My poems don't even rhyme. Lolsies.
Anywhore, i gotta bounce now.
Thank you, goodafternoon, much love!
